In-App Instant Account Deletion (Recommended)

If you have the EduConnect Android app installed on your device, you can permanently delete your account and personal data immediately without waiting for manual processing:

1. Open the EduConnect app and sign into your account.
2. Tap the navigation drawer and go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete Forever.

In-app deletion immediately erases your user profile from Firestore and deletes your Firebase Authentication user account.

Data Deletion & Retention Details

When an account is deleted, the following personal data is erased:

• User Profile: Name, email address, profile image, bio, subject preferences, and user role.
• Class & Content History: Class enrollment records, EduAI chat history, Discover feed posts, and comments.
• Authentication Credentials: Firebase Authentication user record permanently deleted.

Note: Completed financial transaction records and Paystack payout logs may be retained for accounting and statutory tax compliance as required by financial regulations.
