1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, registering, or using EduConnect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the platform.

2. User Roles & Accounts

EduConnect supports Student and Teacher account roles. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to enroll in live classes.

3. Code of Conduct & Community Guidelines

EduConnect is an educational platform. To maintain a safe and productive environment, all users must adhere to community standards. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or abusive language in posts, comments, or live classes.
• Posting explicit, sexually suggestive, or violent media.
• Spamming, commercial solicitation, or sharing unauthorized promotional links.
• Disrupting live video classes or unauthorized recording of interactive sessions.

Automated filters (`AbuseFilter`) automatically detect banned keywords, contact solicitation, and repetitive spam. Content violating guidelines will be removed, and repeat offenders face account suspension or permanent termination.

4. Class Enrollments & Cancellation Policy

Students may cancel a class enrollment up to 2 hours before the scheduled class start time for a refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 2 hours of class start.

5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
